Will
A will is a legal document that outlines how a person’s assets and properties will be distributed after their death. Registering a will is not mandatory in, but it adds an extra layer of authenticity and security to the document. During registration, the will is presented to the local registrar in the presence of witnesses. The registrar then records the document, ensuring that it cannot be easily tampered with or disputed. This process safeguards the testator's (the person making the will) wishes and provides clear proof of their intent, making it easier for beneficiaries to claim their inheritance. While registration adds legal validity, an unregistered will can also be valid if it meets all legal requirements.
